“IDIOSYNCRATIC GENIUS” -The Scotsman

Trent H Baumann, is an internationally recognised comic artist who has played form the New York Clown Festival to the Glastonbury Music Festival also having been nominated for Malcolm Hardee Awards' "Most Original Comedy" at the Edinburgh Fringe, Just For Laughs' “Best Comedy” Award at the Montreal Fringe and the winner of “Best Circus” at the Melbourne and Adelaide Fringes. Trent has toured his highly original work to over twenty countries around the world developing distinct talents in writing, directing, producing and performing. With national and international training focusing on Comedy, Film, Education and Social Science. Trent is a graduate of QUT with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, was one of the select students in the only Rock 'n' Roll Circus/Circa training program and a masterclass participant with Pixar. He has gained much acclaim for his shows as the vanguard of vaudeville with ‘The Birdmann & Egg’ and is evolving an underground following for his hand-typed quotes of humour and hope on social media @trentHbaumann. He also recently made his TV debut on Renegade Film’s “Studio at the Memo”, Channel Ten's “The Project” and writing, directing and starring in the short film “Coffeehead” for ABC2 and iview. Trent H Baumann is dedicated to evolving his talents to exciting new ventures in the future and teaching others to do the same to create a valuable artistic community that is central to broader society.
